At our Newquay location we do not currently offer a home collection service. However, we work closely with local veterinary practices who can assist with arranging your pet's transfer to our crematorium. Yes. We have convenient on-site parking available for visitors, making it as easy as possible to access our crematorium during what we understand can be a very emotional time.

Yes. We have a dedicated farewell room where families can spend private time saying their final goodbye to a much-loved pet. We understand how important these moments can be, and we've created a peaceful and respectful space where you can remember your companion in complete privacy.

Yes. Many people contact us in advance, to make sure that their exact wishes can be carried out. The details of both the pets and their owners are kept on file until our help is needed.
Although your personal situation and beliefs may shape the end-of-life process for your pet, your two main options are burial and cremation. Discussing an end-of-life plan with your veterinary practice can be a good opportunity to understand your options and make decisions that might become more difficult with time. To bring your pet directly to the crematorium, simply contact us to arrange an appointment. We are often able to help on the same day you reach out, depending on our current schedule.

On arrival, your pet is placed on a wheeled bier and you and your pet are taken to our Chapel of Rest where you may spend time discussing your requirements and have your last goodbyes in private should you wish. Our understanding staff are on hand to answer any questions and help you through the process.
Our individual cremation service means that your pet will be handled and cremated on their own. As members of the IAOPCC (International Association Of Pet Cemeteries & Crematories) each pet is cremated individually. We do not cremate multiple pets simultaneously or communally cremate pets and then separate ashes out afterward.
Yes. We can carry out same-day cremation and collection upon request. An additional charge is made for this service.
We have helped pet owners with most large breeds of dog so there will not be a problem. If you have concerns, please contact us.

Yes. The size or type of pet is not what is important - the bond you had is what matters. We know the love that owners have for their pet is not governed by species.

Lizards, snakes, geckos, chameleons, dragons, iguanas, tortoises, turtles and any other pets that aren’t cats, dogs, feathered or furry. 'Cold-blooded' doesn't really do justice to the companionship these pets give us!
Some very small pets may not leave behind enough ash to collect. Please contact us if you have any concerns and we will give you expert advice.
We can advise on the minimum size of pet that can be cremated as in many cases, the owner would like to keep the ashes. Some pets may be too small for any remains to be gathered so please contact us about very small pets.
As members of the IAOPCC (International Association Of Pet Cemeteries & Crematories) we ensure that your pet is handled and cremated individually with great care and respect. Each pet is cremated on their own thus ensuring that you always receive your own pet’s ashes back. We provide a certificate that is returned to you with your pet’s ashes. This will depend on the veterinary practice that you use so it is important that you plan ahead to make sure you and your family get the service you want. Should you wish to use the farewell room, you should contact your local PCS crematorium directly to discuss the services you require before the sad day. This often gives people peace of mind - knowing their exact wishes will be carried out.
We have comprehensive arrangements for pet owners via our Veterinary clients who offer our dignified accredited cremation services via the operation of our regular collections. You are welcome to bring your pet to any one of our crematoriums, just reach out to your local PCS crematorium to arrange in person.
Our Essex and North East sites also provide a home collection service.
It is very important to us that all pets that come to one of the PCS Pet Crematoriums are treated like one of our own. Your pet will be handled carefully at all times and we assure you that they will be treated with the respect that they deserve.

You are welcome to come back to the crematorium to collect your pet’s ashes once we have them ready for you. Alternatively, we can also return ashes directly to your home or your vet, although an additional charge is made for this service.
You can pay for our services by cash or by most major credit and debit cards (i.e. Switch & Delta cards). We reserve the right to request payment in advance.
