Most people would laugh at the fact you're just a hamster. And also at the fact that I'm 22 years old sobbing my eyes out over a hamster. But you helped me through so much. I had not long been in hospital with myocarditis that has left me on heart medication for the rest of my life just before you popped into my life. I was unfit for a dog, or even any animal that required a lot of work to keep happy. And I had wanted a hamster for a very long time, but was just not allowed one because my family didn't like them. You were the first pet I got when I moved out, and you made me chuckle with your odd ways. The way you'd come out when you'd hear me, fall asleep on my lap and sit and plop down on my shoulder like a parrot for hours on end without moving because you enjoyed it so much. Rest easy Remy.
