Our boy Bailey passed away at Chantry Vets at Wakefield at 20.35 on Monday 26th June 2023. It was the worst day of our lives.  We were so overcome with grief we were at a loss about what to do. The staff at Chantry had been fantastic every time we attended. They had always made us feel at ease and fussed over our boy. Tragically cancer took him away from us.  Following our loss Chantry gave us a PCS brochure about pet funerals and guided us through what would happen next. It is clear that there is a fantastic working relationship between Chantry Vets and PCS.

We rang PCS and explained that our boy had passed away. They guided us through the process and were very compassionate in their dealings with us. They advised us to place an order via Chantry Vets and they would do the rest. We had our boy cremated and his ashes were placed in a casket of our choice.

When we collected him we were both overwhelmed by the thought and care that PCS had shown.  Bailey’s ashes had been placed in a lovely box in a very tasteful bag with a picture of a dove. Inside the box was a beautiful casket. There was a card with a very meaningful verse. Next to the verse was Bailey’s paw print. There was a small keepsake bottle with some of his fur in it and a plaster cast of his paw print.  There are no words to describe how blown away we were by the professionalism, compassion and care that PCS have shown.  It is abundantly clear that they are passionate about the service they provide.  They have done our boy proud. We cannot praise PCS highly enough for the standard of service they have shown in looking after our beloved Bailey.

None of us want to lose our fur babies but we would like to thank PCS for helping us with our loss. The standard of care was second to none and they should feel very proud of the service they deliver.  It feels better knowing that he was in such good hands.  We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Thank you doesn’t seem to be enough to express the depth of our gratitude and appreciation.

Our beloved friend and pet Lexi left us on Friday 17th Febuary 2023 at 04:45, she was everything to us so it meant a lot to us that we found somewhere where we could send her to her final resting place and PCS Doncaster Pet Crematorium were who we used. They were very understanding and professional, I can not recommend them highly enough!! To be able to give our beloved Lexi the send off she deserved was the most important thing for us and they did just that, thank you so much, we wern't rushed in anyway and you were fully understanding of our loss! Thanks again Simon and Jurjana

I would like to take this opportunity to pass on our thanks and appreciation to your Doncaster manager Claire.

She is an absolute credit to Pet Cremation Services!

After suffering the pain of losing our little girl Rose I phoned your company that afternoon to try and arrange a cremation.

However, I was informed that you was fully booked up during the mid week.

Although, we did still arrange to attend to purchase an urn despite organising with another cremation service. As my partner had seen one that she liked within the brochure that we were given from Dearne Valley Medivets.

We arrived the following morning having collected our baby girl from the vets before taking her to be cremated at Cannon Hall.

The empathy in which Claire showed towards my fiancée and I was nothing short of incredible. 

She helped us in such a personal way to cope with what was such a painful experience. In what turned into a therapy session for us all, as we learned that Claire had lost her little boy only two weeks earlier.

Please pass on our sincere thanks to Claire, who in my opinion should receive the highest praise for the way in which she operates the business.
We will be eternally grateful to her for making our horrible day so much brighter!

You cremated my beloved Staffy Lily from Vets for Pets after we had to put her to sleep. I thank you for looking after her as she was very precious I had no idea where she had been taken as the vets didn't tell. I'm glad I've got her back now. Thanks again.

Amazing service, visited on Wednesday to say our goodbyes to our labrador, as heartbreaking as it was he truly looked beautiful and im so grateful we had the opportunity to see him one last time, Thank you so much for taking care of our boy. Rip Harry xx

I used your sevices through our vets, they sent Spud to you for cremation and I got his ashes back the next week, I have his ashes on my fireplace and in a nice urn, thankyou guys for treating my Spud with respect.
