My dearest Apollo, no pet will replace you. You were my first pet and will be the last because the heartbreak of losing you is devastating. I love you so much, you were a feisty, funny and curious cat. I’ll forever wear the bite mark you left on my arm, it’s been over a decade and it’s still there you little rascal, I look at it and cherish it, I hope it stays till it’s my time to join you over the rainbow bridge. Thank you for 16 special years. I’ll miss you very much. I’m sorry you suffered in the end, you deserved a better peaceful death and I hope you’ll forgive us and the vets for any discomfort. Live it up in kitty heaven Apollo, i hope you’re sunbathing with all the treats you love. Till we meet again where I can smother you in kisses while you wriggle free. All the love in the world, with lotsa hugs and cuddles xx Also thank you to all the staff for helping Apollo in his final resting place.
