Losing a beloved pet is an emotional and challenging time, and at PCS Norfolk Pet Crematorium we are dedicated to providing compassionate care and support for you and your family when it is needed most.
In line with our commitment to serving our local community, we are pleased to introduce our Home Collection Service for bereaved pet owners. This service is designed to assist those whose pet has passed away at home, who may be unable to transport their pet to our crematorium themselves, or who simply prefer the reassurance of dealing with us directly.
Our compassionate and professionally trained collection team will attend your home and take the time to talk through the available service options with you. When you are ready to say goodbye, your pet will be gently and respectfully transferred to our vehicle, ensuring they are treated with the utmost care and dignity. Your pet’s ashes are typically prepared within three days. Once ready, you may collect them from our crematorium, or we can arrange delivery back to your home for an additional fee.
Our Home Collection Service is available during normal working hours, from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. To arrange a collection, simply contact us and we will agree on a suitable time to collect your pet from your home or directly from your veterinary practice. If you wish, this service can also be scheduled in advance to help reduce added stress during an already difficult period.
Collections are available within a 40-mile radius of our crematorium, ranging from Sheringham in the north, Swaffham in the west and Harleston in the south. The following map highlights the collection areas covered by this service.
Some key information related to this service is listed below:
- We will contact you when your pet’s ashes are ready to be returned and this will be within 3 days.
- You are very welcome to attend our crematorium and farewell room.
- The collection fees are based on the distance we need to travel to your desired location - these will be confirmed with you before the collection is booked.
