Archie wasn't just my dog, he was my reason to wake up, my reason to keep going. Archie came into our lives when I was going through the worst time and he gave me that reason. He got me, and I got him. We had a bond I will never be able to describe to anyone, it was just ours. He loved walkies, backchatting anyone who would listen, he loved it when I made sandwiches as he knew he'd end up with half a packet of ham, he loved zoomies and 99% of the time I was woken up to him zooming around the bedroom and down the stairs. He loved morning cuddles, he loved being in between us on the sofa of an evening, or curling up on anything soft, even if I wanted a blanket he'd find a way to be on it. He loved to look out the window all of the time, often howling until I pulled the blinds up so he could see what was going on. He knew the sound of his dads car and every single time he drove down the street he was up the window to see his dad come home, even at 6am after a night-shift. He would sleep under my desk while I worked, and keep me company throughout my shift. My colleagues would always see him on a teams meeting as he loved to jump up and sit behind me on the bed, he'd always be there. He wanted to be in the garden so much he'd sometimes wake us up at 3am just so he could lay out there, and god I wish for nothing more now than to just do it one more time and lay there with him, just us and the stars. He had so much love to give and I am forever grateful we were the receivers of that. He came everywhere with me if he could, and my family know I often didn't stay in places too long as I wanted to get back to my baby. I hope you know just how much I loved you Archie boy, I miss you so much. Life is never going to be the same
