Bird Cremation & Memorial Services

Saying your final farewell to your beloved feathered friend is as important to you as any other pet owner, and that’s why we offer the same service to all of our beloved pets.

Bird cremation and memorials are quite common, we’ve paid tributes to many feathered friends including parrots, budgies, cockatiels, cockatoos, canaries, lovebirds, chickens and more.

Any pet, irrespective of their species, holds their own special place in our hearts and all deserve the same caring tribute.

When we lose our beloved pet bird, it can be heart-breaking. We want to help make your final tribute to your feathered pet an easy process and have listed below the many ways you can commemorate your pet’s life and friendship.

Our Pet Remembrance Book

Our online remembrance book is a great way to publicly pay tribute to your feathered friend with a warming message for everyone to see. Add your own message alongside the many other remembrances on our website.

Pet Bird Cremation

At PCS we offer two forms of cremation for your feathered pet.

Individual cremations ensure that your feathered friend is cremated singularly within a clean and private chamber. With the individual cremation, you are guaranteed that the ashes you receive, or those placed into our memorial garden, will be only the ashes of your beloved pet.

A communal cremation is the chosen choice for many pet owners. This means that your pet will be cremated with a small group of others, as there is no separation of pets in this process you will not receive any ashes back from a communal cremation. Perhaps for many, the communal cremation gives a sense of togetherness, to be alongside other beloved pets on their final journey.

Both cremations are carried out with the utmost respect and care, and there is no right or wrong choice.

Memorials

Occasionally, pet owners opt for memorial over cremation. This is a decision that is unique to the individual pet owner.

We have a number of ways to memorialise your feathered friend, please take a look through the shop and services section of our website for more information.
