Our beautiful Belle passed away peacefully on 14th September 2023. She was born with a major liver shunt that was only discovered after she became very ill in 2021. We were told that most dogs with her condition don't live past 2 months old, yet somehow her body had learned to cope with it. As she got older the toxins built higher and in 2021, she was given two weeks to live. She defied all the odds and with lots of love and care, she lived another two years. Tameside Veterinary Clinic refer to her as Belle, the miracle dog. Last week her little body deteriorated and we knew it was her time to rest. She was the most loving, affectionate and loyal dog in the world and right now our hearts are broken but she gave us so many wonderful memories and we know that in time, they are the things we will remember. She will arrive at Leyland tomorrow and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for looking after my girl. Run free Belle.. we will love you forever x
