Our beautiful princess, Deeley, who blessed us with 16 wonderful years. When we rescued you and your brother, Dennis, you were just kittens who had been living in a field and terrified of humans. We managed to build your trust, and in doing so, we gained the most loyal, beautiful, gentle soul. You were with us for every special moment of our adult lives. You saw us grow up, and you welcomed our boys into the world, loving them as much as we did until now as young teens. We all miss you so, so much. I miss your slow blinks, your helicopter purr, seeing you snoozing in your bed with your paws crossed, they way you couldn't sit still when being stroked and paraded up and down. Your "thank you" meows after food. The head bumps, watching you snoozing in the warm morning sun on the window ledge. I miss you waiting for me at the window when I came home from work and the way you would run to the door. The hallway is empty now, not even Dennis comes. He misses you so much. We all do. Deeley, you were truly a special girl. Your love for the Christmas tree will always be a part of our Christmas and each year, we will place you beneath it.
