Rest in peace now Jakey-boy! Thank you for choosing us to be your new home, you gave us 10 years of unconditional love and companionship, and all you asked was a warm place to sleep and a full tummy! The house seems very empty now without 'the little beast' strolling around, getting under foot and generally being in charge! You were the most gentle and affectionate cat I have ever known, and so intelligent too, you knew so many words and I swear you could sense my moods too, your love helped me through many bad and sad days. I especially miss our before bed time walks together, and seeing you sat on the doorstep waiting to hop in the car to say hello when I got home. Cancer took my friend away years too soon, please believe me, if I could have done more, I would have, but in the end, I could not watch you suffer any more, the pain is over for ever now matey. Find a sunny spot in heaven and have a good snooze! We will miss you for ever.
