Remembrance Book - In loving memory of Socks Daw

To our gorgeous little boy Socks. 13 years ago, I remember it like it was yesterday, as we came to pick your Sister Honey up, I was persuaded against my wishes to bring you home as well, the boring cat, who had no fun in him. 13 years later, on 16th September 2022, as we made the heart breaking decision to ease the pain you were in, we said our last goodbyes to you, enjoying a final cuddle, kiss and best of all, head butt. Sitting here now, writing this, with you by our side, we realise we lost a piece of our hearts, as we watched you pass away. The last 13 years wouldn't have been the same without you being around, the happiness and joy you have brought to our home, from following us everywhere at breakfast and tea time, to the patter of paws as you ran through the kitchen, to the cute kneading of your paws, and running up the tree on fireworks night. The house won't be the same without you around, but time is a great healer, and now you are back home with us, we will never forget you. Goodnight little man, sweet dreams, look forward to seeing you on the other side for lots of head butt's, your ever loving Mum and Dad x
