Star, you came to me on a snowy winter afternoon in 2013 when you were 8 years old. From then on we were inseparable. You were feisty, stubborn, fearless, and did things your own way. You were loyal and lovable and you learned fast, and everyone who met you thought you were amazing. You woke me up from nightmares and greeted me with a smile in the morning.
