Remembrance Book - In loving memory of Tiger

15 wonderful years you spent with us little man and you went for your forever sleep on the 3rd December 2015. One of the hardest decisions we have ever made. When I was on the bus home from college and about to go and meet mum and the vets I could have never really known or prepared myself for what was about to come. I was only three when you came into our lives and I don't remember life before you, so now that you are not longer here in body it feels incredibly weird to me. You were a very private little fellow who only cared for cuddles off mummy and me. I told you all of my secrets; some you took with you. I take comfort in the fact that you are no longer in pain anymore after you battled against arthritis for over 3 years. You made my 18th birthday which, for that, I am extremely grateful as I wanted you there to celebrate with me. You're housemate Basil is missing you. He may have had a funny way of showing it but he did truly love you, even if he seemed like a nuisance to you! From the day he arrived you two have never really spent much time apart except for when you both went for sleepovers at the vets. You may not have had the best start to your life but I hope that once things changed that you loved living out your days with us. I miss our little chats where you would sit on the bed and talk to me for hours. I know you are with me in spirit little boy, I just wish you were still here in body so I could give you a big old cuddle. I love you, Tiger. Night night, God bless, sleep tight. xxxxxxxxx
