There's something missing in my home, I feel it day and night, I know it will take time and strength before I will feel alright, But just for now I need to mourn, My heart it needs to mend, Though some may say "its just a dog", I've lost my everything, You brought such laughter to our home, Such richness to my days, My quirky little Vespa, I loved your funny ways, It hurts so much to not be able to hear your padding paws, Come up to bed for cuddles and keep me awake with snores, Wait for me at Rainbow Bridge with Jet and Ember and Jess.
